🏒 South Island Youth Hockey Presents: The Summer Mini-Series – 4-Week Ball Hockey Program

Are you ready to hit the floor?

We’re launching our first-ever 4-session summer ball hockey development series, built for fun, fundamentals, and friendly competition! Open to kids aged 7–18, this program is designed to build confidence, teach the game, and focus on teamwork and development—without pressure.

🗓 Dates & Time:
Sundays – July 20, July 27, August 3, and August 10
All sessions held at Archie Browning Sports Centre, Esquimalt
Session start times begin at 10:00 AM and will be confirmed by division once registration closes (June 30).

👥 Coaching Highlight:
Jacob Bernardo leads the charge!
A veteran of the Western Challenge Cup, junior ice hockey defenceman, and championship winner with two years left to chase another. Jacob is also a Transform Sports athlete and youth mentor with experience coaching and guiding young players.

🧠 Program Structure:

• Balanced, development-focused age divisions

• Each session includes skills, positioning, and a game

• Final week crowns our Summer Mini-Series Champions in each division!

💲 Cost:
$55 per player – includes:
✔ 4 ball hockey sessions
✔ Player insurance
✔ South Island Youth Hockey T-shirt

📋 Requirements:

• Players: Helmet, gloves, shin pads, jock/jill. (Knee & elbow pads encouraged.)

• Coaches (19+): Must complete a criminal record check and Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders.
